Organizers said the show will come back "stronger than ever in 2023" after the event planned for next February was postponed because of coronavirus-related issues.

The Geneva show will return in 2022 after a two-year absence. It will keep the automobile as its focus, Sandro Mesquita, CEO told Automotive News Europe.
In an email to Automotive News Europe, a spokesperson for the event organizers, the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS), confirmed that the show has been given the green light.
The event will be held at the at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center and will take place every two years, while the Geneva show will continue to take place annually.
